A number of Carenne Special School staff have contacted Carenne Gate this afternoon saying that they find it strange that the three key players in the Carenne KLAN - Lee Churches, Michael Auld and Simone Russell were absent from school today. Staff claim that they were left in the dark about why they were away.
All staff who reported the majority of the KLAN being away said they were glad they had a day without them working with them.
"It was almost relaxing today, no bitching, lying, backstabbing or setting up. If Carenne was like this everyday there would be less problems. Even the students seemed calmer today."
Another Carenne staff member said they believed it was likely that the trio were making a group worker's compensation claim blaming this blog for their "stress".

This to Sea Snitch, I have a letter from neil moon stating that they will not badger or intimidate my son on his return to school. We sent him back friday and already being badgered about why he was away from school, I now know the letter is not worth the paper its printed on. Who would I report this matter too. As I know there are leaks from your office back to the school is there someone your office is accountable to.
Generally those types of concerns would be reported to the SED or EPAC. Your concern about Terry Neal should have been referred to EPAC by Neil Moon but I can assure you it hasn't. It should be handled under the local management policy with EPAC oversight. I believe your best bet would be to make a DOCS report. You could also call the Ombudsman, they oversight child protection legislation. It is better to make child protection complaints outside DET because we have a history of covering them up.
The SEA is ultimately responsible to the regional director of education. On top of that, you have the DDG Schools. You may like to call the DDG Trevor Fletcher on (02) 9561 1138.

I should also let you know that it is usual practice for the SEA to refer issues back to the principal unless they involve the principal. The principal shouldn't be broadcasting it throughout the school.

BTW Shane a phone conversation is not worth the paper it is written on and should only be used to obtain the email address of the person you wish to direct your concerns / complaints to. Ask in your email for a receipt / responce of your email otherwise you will be left waiting sometimes for weeks, delay like the phone call full of assurances is another tactic these people have used to make problems go away. Everything should be written under the words FORMAL COMPLAINT so there is no misunderstanding. When they hang the phone up that is an end to any accurate record, the phone call is your enemy. Without the email as proof what you say can and almost always will be twisted. When these people talk about privacy what they are really interested in is hiding the truth away from the publics consideration of why senior politicians have refused to act in the childrens best interest. Your position as a parent with first hand experience of what has been going on is very important because others who have stepped up have been dismissed.

I believe that this would be grounds for dismissal for refusing to follow a direction by her superiors. Yes but they can't be trusted because they are on DET's side. One of the case managers there sided with DET over a SAM and a lovely teacher at another Bathurst school.

Today was a good day for those students who Lee Churches normally harasses. She was away again. Simone the mouth was back complaining about how Jenny O'Neill's husband made a complaint about Scott and that it found nothing. She said Scott is about to crack so the O'Neills better be careful.
