As you may be aware I have been writing a series of articles relating to Carenne Special School for Indymedia Sydney. As part of this, I have assisted Mr Brian Carter in making a Freedom of Information request to the NSW Department of Education and Training.
One of the items received as part of that request was a blog posting relating to your son Jeremy Russell about interactions with a 14 year-old girl on Facebook. What concerns me is why this was released by the department and why it was released to Mr Carter when it appears to relate to your son. I have visited the blog in question and have noted a number of comments made to the alleged victim by James Stiff which tends to indicate that your son believes that Mr Carter posed as the girl to set him up. There are threats against Mr Carter and quite disturbing as are comments about your husband made by Mr Stiff.
I sincerely doubt the comments about your husband are true, given his recent promotion and relocation to Collarenebri. Mr Stiff is obviously trying to threaten and intimidate the victim.
I am told by my sources at Carenne that there have been threats made by your son, supported by yourself against friends and relatives of Mr Carter. One of these incidences involved you telling your son that its fine to assault Mr Carter's son so long as it wasn't done on school land. A sworn statement was obtained from my source two weeks ago when I met with her and others in Bathurst.
Another incident involved claims by your son that you hired private investigators to track the identity of the girl.
My questions are therefore:
1. Do you know why the blog posting was released to Mr Carter?
2. Do you believe it was appropriate for it to have been released to Mr Carter given it relates solely to your son?
3. What is the relationship with Mr Stiff?
4. Did you tell your son it was fine to assault Mr Carter's son?
5. Did you hire private investigators to track the identity of the girl in question?

Within hours of me sending the email to the school's email address, I was informed that a single detective had turned up at Brian Carter's house hassling him about Jeremy Russell. The detective made some threats and it was later found out that the case he was supposed to be investigating had been closed and he had no right being there. It shows the amount of power the Russell Family have over the NSW Police, probably due to Scott Russell being a high-ranking officer.
At the time I believed the comments made about Scott Russell on the blog were false, but after being involved in Carenne Gate for over 9 months now I can see that such behaviour does and continues to occur in the Police force.

We are reading about how the people who own the buses pay the insurance and registration won’t keep them road worthy, the RTA needs to be told and so also the buses insurers. Drivers are required to check their bus before they take them out into service. Bald tires are not difficult to spot if they are or were bald the bus should have been out of service, certainly children and other workers should not have been transported on non complying busses. Where is the transport drivers union and parents while all this has been allegedly occurring?

The RTA is the one to report these bald tires to, particularly when they are on school busses, why fool around with Workcover and special transport? The general public are being put at risk. When people don't do their jobs that is how people get killed or injured. As I wrote earlier “Don't licensed drivers understand they are responsible and can be considered culpable for knowingly taking a un-road worthy bus out into service? The tires either comply or they don’t. If I notice these busses running around with kids on board and non complying tires, the RTA will know all about it. Anyone who holds a licence to drive should be aware of their responsibility to ensure the vehicle they intend to drive on a public road is roadworthy. Tires are part of the visual inspection which should be done. Not checking the tires won’t absolve the driver, particularly if there is an accident occasioning death or injury. If management are intimidating or in fact threatening drivers who refuse to take un road worthy buses into service. That would be a matter for the police. Is that happening at Carenne Special School or Carenne Support Ltd ?

Carenne Support can contact the Workcover Authority free of charge as an organisation who employs less than 20 full time staff and request an advisory visit to come up with a safety plan. The example of the driver not being responsible for the tyres after reporting them to the employer demonstrates there is a real problem which needs to be addressed.
I would recommend you calling 13 10 50 on Monday and asking for an advisory visit.

Here how it is the bus supervisor is the one who should be accountable for Carenne Support buses being ROAD WORTHY not the drivers and CARENNE BUS SUPERVISOR up to 1.4.2010 was CHRISTINE PORTER.

I cant believe all licenced drivers and operators men or women havbe forgotten they are responcible for doing a basic check of something so fundermental as tires before driving onto a public road.Just because no one bothers dosent mean it is not part of being a competant licensed driver. Try using an unroad worty vehical to go for a drivers licence test. It is an automatic fail before putting the key in the ignition. Thank god we are not all like klan members and their hangers on. BTW the three have been issued notices to attend the court, identifying them as up on serious crimminal charges may be a bit of wishful thinking at this point. I hope pleanty of parents will be in town to get photos take notes and report for those who cant make it how things go?

The person I was replying to said "You frend drive bus got bald tyes does she". I thought they were talking about another female bus driver (which of course there isn't one).
Maybe all Carenne school buses should be check im sure carenne support buses are not the only ones with defects.
It would only be the Carenne Support buses that are defective. The Oberon, Town, Trunkey and Blayney buses are all looked after superbly. After all, they have never caught on fire when they have been under 6 months old!

Imagine a photo of the trio walking down the stairs of the courthouse.
If the Western Advocate do not report on this then we know how truly compromised they are. Look at what they did to Janine Hosemans's when she was before the court, everytime she was called up they wrote about it. It was unprecedented for them. It is just as significant that three senior teachers from Bathurst's most notorious school are before the courts on charges.

If management are intimidating or in fact threatening drivers who refuse to take un road worthy buses into service. That would be a matter for the police. Is that happening at Carenne Special School or Carenne Support Ltd ?
Yes it is. I heard them tell Jenny when she reported it that she had to drive it and if she didn't they would sack her and ruin her name like another infamous bus driver.

Bullshit, they are smooth. Just because they aren't down to the wire doesn't mean they are legal. You would have to be the BEANCOUNTER who won't give poor Jenny a safe bus to drive.

Just another stuff up by this horrendously incompetent woman Christine Porter.
Carenne Support saying it was the driver's fault won't fly. Carenne Support has an obligation to ensure that all staff are aware of their safety responsibilities under the OH&S Act. The penalties for not doing so are severe and Workcover is known to be vigilant in bringing prosecutions against those who are caught out. That is why I suggested an advisory visit so you can make sure you are compliant.
Obviously this poor woman who you are crucifying believed that by reporting it to management that it would be fixed. The woman was probably told "if something happens and you have reported it to your boss you are OK". By the sounds of it there was no induction or explanation of workplace safety to the poor woman, so while she may have been responsible if she had been pulled over by the RTA or Police the blame also lays with the company who should have reminded the driver of the fundamental checks before taking a vehicle onto a road.
4:33PM If threats are happening this needs to be reported to the union or Workcover. Workcover takes threatening employees about safety issues very seriously.

Carenne Support Ltd did not inform any of there staff about any audits that had to be done as far as they were concern they employed to drive the buses and nothing else.They were told this was the bus supervisor job.

Tyres
Your vehicle’s tyres must be in good condition and have a tread at least 1.5 mm deep across the tread surface.
Cars (including station wagons, utilities, panel vans) and motor cycles must not have regrooved tyres, unless the tyre was manufactured to be regrooved.
I will tell you a ten cent coin is 1.5 mm thick. I will also tell you most tyres being fitted these days have tread depth indicators built into the tread pattern when wear reaches these indicators it is time to replace the tyres.
It is an offence to drive a defective vehicle, even if you are not responsible for having it repaired.
This guide is part of the NSW Road users handbook. much of what I have posted here can be found on Page 157. Many of you people teach I would think you all know knowledge is power. Am I correct in understanding there are still worn out tyres on these busses which will be used to carry school children before the tyres are replaced?
