It has been reported that one day last week, the principal of Carenne Special School Neil Moon and one of his teachers Nadine Dwyer went looking for a student who had ran away from school and into the park across the road. It is claimed that the student walked out the front door of the school, across busy Browning Street and into the park where he lit up a cigarette.
The incident was repeated on Monday and Tuesday of this week. On Monday nobody went looking for the student and on on Tuesday Karina Molenkamp stood opposite the park and yelled "get your fucking arse back here *****." A number of onlookers were horrified at the language used by Mrs Molenkamp towards the student.
It demonstrates how student safety is low on the list of priorities at Carenne Special School.

The NSW Labor government doesn't want a bar of what is happening at Carenne. Look at the comments made by Gerard Martin to Libertarian about people outside his electorate commenting and how he supports the work of Carenne Special School.
Here's a question for you Mr Martin - do you support children being locked in the pig pen, exposed to human faeces on a bus, fingers jammed in doors, parents bullied, whistleblowers attacked and the theft of funding from the government? I suppose you must.

The NSW Police are currently running a Supply means Supply" campaign which focuses on supplying alcohol to minors. If someone has evidence of alcohol being supplied by a police officer they should make a complaint to the PIC or Ombudsman's office.

This is a disgrace. You have the Police themselves running a campaign against underage drinking and the supply of alcohol to minors and you have a senior officer putting up $1000 on the bar at a pub for a 16th birthday party where the attendees can get alcohol on him and his wife.

Look, I'm not in any way affiliated to Carenne Special School or Bathurst, but if what is being stated here is just 10% true we have a major crisis on our hands. Look we need to put the kids first, we need to have a thorough investigation into these extremely serious and worrying claims and we need to get to the bottom of this issue asap. Look if what is stated is not true any investigation is a chance to vindicate the people involved, but if it is true it is a chance to get the care and justice to these kids and their families that they deserve. Stop this stupid and self-defeating internal political and personal shit and do something decent and worthwhile for these kids in such desperate need. Hi Michael I too am an outsider looking in and have been following this story for some time. The way some of these people behave is immature but these are people who have been threatened if they speak out so they see this as the best forum for their concerns.
The reporter on this has published documentary evidence that these things really are happening at Carenne Special School. It is terrible to think that in this day and age that it could possibly happen in Australia.
