In what is clearly a case of "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours", Carenne Support has employed former Capebase driver Steven Minshull to look after its vehicles.Minshull was accused on this website of conspiring with Simone Russell to defraud the department to maximise payment to his employer.
Despite claims by Carenne Support representatives and the Carenne Special School executive that everything on Sydney Indymedia and Carenne Gate are lies, rubbish or rot; it appears that yet another claim made by a Carenne Saviour has come true.

Yes, Steve was at the school yesterday meeting with myself & Christine about that job. Noone is denying that. He signed in the book because I was led to believe that everyone who enters the school has to sign in, as I do every time I go there. And why would the sign in book go missing? Of course people would know we were there...get a grip!!

There were a number of plans. One was to make out that a student on the Lithgow bus was violent and needed his own run, this would keep both Steve and Derek in a job. The other was to play up how violent this student was at school so a 1:1 aide position would be created that Steve would be slotted into.
It seems all of turned out not to be possible so this was the next best thing.

Steve Minshull met with Christine & I on Wednesday , at 9.30 when I asked him to sign in. At that time, Jenny ONeill and her escort were in the lobby discussing bus matters with us, including the fact that Gerry was unable to do the run on Monday. So..... as Steve had been approved as an escort I asked him if he could do the Monday run to help us out, even though at this stage he hadnt taken up our offer of employment. YES, we had offered him employment as we were in need of an experienced bus driver & escort, and someone to oversee the buses. Big deal!
By the time we had finished our discussion with Jenny & Gerry it was nearly 10am. Then we went to our meeting to discuss aspects of Steves proposed job, I left at 10.30 for another appointment I had, and I am not sure what time Steve & Christine left. Not that I have to explain that to anybody really!! Steve took a copy of the contract we offered him to think about and, the following day, declined the job as he took up another offer.
Steve was not paid for any time by Carenne Support, because he did not work for us!! I have since arranged for someone else to do the escort job in the Lithgow run on Monday morning.

1. Exaggerates things that are ridiculous.

5. They may be somewhat of a hypochondriac. This can come in especially useful when caught in a lie, for example, they can claim that they have been sick, or that there's some mysteriously "illness" that has them all stressed out. It's another excuse tool for their behavior.
6. Obviously, they will contradict what they say. This will become very clear over time. They usually aren't smart enough to keep track of so many lies (who would be?).
