It has been revealed that "communication books" containing admissions that Carenne Support had neglected to perform therapy on a student have gone missing. These communication books are sent to and from school every day conveying information between student's parents and teacher.
A member of staff at Carenne Special School says that she saw an entry into the book stating that no therapy had been done on this student this year and that the book was lost at school, despite them always being kept in the same place. She alleges that no other books went missing, only ones for this particular student.
The book refutes claims by Christine Porter to the body funding the student's therapy that therapy was being done by her Carenne Support therapy team.
Once more it appears Carenne Special School staff will destroy valuable evidence to hide the neglect and abuse at the school.

I expect the parents know if the threapy was being done on their child. Just how quick are our senior public servants in DET when it comes to addressing rorts involving the KLAN. I would find out who these 'therapists' are registered through and make a complaint to the appropriate professional association.
The students don't need a cover-up they need to be getting therapy.

How about telling several parents that the best therapy for their students would be to purchase a bike?
Isn't it funny that her husband owns the bike shop in Bathurst which she is telling people to buy it from and then have it modified by TAD.
Carenne Support has ruined Carenne.
The relationship between charities and Carenne Special School are clearly unacceptable when they are affecting the reputation of the school/DET and they are siphoning funds from the school.

You can think what you like about the relationship between Carenne Support and Carenne but without Carenne Support there would be no Carenne, it's as simple as that. Cut the rot and stop trying to make innocent people out to be criminals.

A long time. Carenne Support with its leader Christine Porter has ruined Carenne Special School. It needs to be closed down and every director should face criminal charges.

i was told lucy thornton got rid of the books she was in the perfect position to do it works in barb's class room every day of the week and has a key to classroom.

The head of therapy at Carenne should step down after this farce. She has made one gaffe after another and the parents are tired of her lies.
1. She made out she was a Carenne staff member until Indymedia caught her out.
2. She didn't give a student therapy or make proper contact with the parent until it was published on Indymedia that the student had been hospitalsed. She then went and harassed the parent telling her that Sydney Indymedia would take photos of her son and post them as an example.
3. She lied to questions by another government agency about this student and now evidence from the teacher has gone missing.
IF CARENNE SUPPORT HAS ANY CREDIBILITY THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY SACK HER.
Carenne Support has no credibility. They made up lies to get a DADHC contract and then when they lost some funding from it they made up lies about the manager of DADHC in Bathurst.
Then you have the stolen buses which even the Variety Club wrote "Carenne School" on but are used so Christine Porter can get paid.
My advice to parents is if there is something important in these communication books photocopy that page and keep it to avoid this happening.
