This afternoon special needs students and staff from Bathurst High School were injured when a bus used by the Backtracks Outdoor Recreation Program swerved off the road and rolled. Carenne teacher "chello" told Carenne Gate that both her and a parent had complained to Neil Moon about Backtracks in the past.
Chello claims that she told Neil Moon that she was concerned about the state of the bus, which she believed was unroadworthy and that Jim, an employee of Backtracks drove erratically. She said that Neil Moon told her he would look into it.
A parent contacted by Carenne Gate said that her son was often worried about going to Backtracks because of the way Jim drove and that she had raised this with Neil Moon who said he would report it.
Obviously Neil Moon didn't report the issues and did nothing, as we have come to expect from him.

It was frightening when it was snowing here, I saw the way he drove it was really scary. Of course when it was raised with Neil Moon I was made to feel like an idiot and told that he knows that Steve is a good driver, he has received only good reports.
What is even more disturbing is how he touches the kids. He needs to be locked up.

Why would Neil Moon do anything when you look at the pieces of shit that pull into his school every day to pick students up.
Look at Dick Spears' old brown Ford that has more rust than metal. The bus he drives when they are doing the dodgy run to Geoff's sister's place instead of the full run to Oberon. It's not roadworthy but does Neil care? Of course not, it's not his kids on the bus is it?

Then you have the Carenne Support buses - two of which had to be sent to Victoria to be repaired, issues they have had since new and students have been transported on for five years.

Does anyone know if Old Mcdonald has drawn the diagram of the rock in the river for her executive and named the 'first teacher-target' to be eliminated? This is how she introduced hereself to BWPS. She drew a rock and named it Bronwyn Mackay then she drew the river flowing all up to and around the rock and on. The river is the rest of the staff and they are then told they totally IGNORE the rock, take no notice of what the rock is doing and act as though the rock does not even exist. She claims this always works and she's used it lots. Considering she's only been with the DET for less than ten years I guess that means at Lithgow and Cobar (only places she's been!)? I wonder who her first "rock" is up there? I just hope they are warned and gang up on her, it's the only way they will maintain any sense of a school and teamwork and unity. Bullshit I am over carenne and its associates and their lies I have not requested information from Libertarian because after next term my son will no longer be in danger from certain carenne staff, and as I dont have the $400+ just to send a letter to request info.

I can only speak about Steves driving and attitude towards myself. Back when Terry Mahoney was principle of carenne and Jenny was just sacked Steve was driving on the lithgow run he came to pick up my son and he must of been having a really bad day because when he turned up he was over reving the bus and the revs were that high he was almost sideways coming into my street squealing tyres and all with students onboard. I confronted steve about this when he pulled up he got quite defensive I would not put my son on the bus when he took off it was the same as when he came into the street reving the bus and spinning the tyres as he took off and I drove my son to school and then went to meet with Terry whilst I was explaining what had happened that morning Steve pops in and starts ranting and raving over myself and Terry he was asked to leave which he did reluctantly, I dont know what action was taken by Terry there was no follow up. I also put in a complaint to SNTS and Steve was no longer a driver on the lithgow run, THANK YOU GOD.
It just goes to show the mentality of Carenne do the right thing and lose your job do the wrong thing and keep your job.
Abuse Students at Carenne and keep your job.

The thing that still gets me is info posted about my past on this blog could of only come from certain sources and because they are government agencies we now know how hard that was looked into.
And I was not the only one complaining at the time but I was made the example and because I didnt walk away from threats made to me on and off this blog I had to be contained, so then the lies started to discredit me which to your credit worked. Lies are easier to believe than the TRUTH but you get that and life is good and will be perfect when my son is moved back into the mainstream, so thank you for making mine and my sons mind up about that. The 'LOCAL RAG' refuses to report on the criminal behaviour of certain DET personnel and/or police in Bathurst. The Sydney papers also refuse to print any of the stories. These are the bought and paid for press and NSW is the only state on the eastern seaboard that has NO problems within the school system - NOT! Queensland and Victoria both report publicly on any anomolies occurring within the public school systems there but NSW is mute and pathetic. Many of the children have developed "Asthma" since beginning school there whilst Mackay was being deliberately assaulted via the use of these toxic chemicals. Grafitti removal substances caused one student to turn green and have to be rushed to hospital while an entire wing of the school had to be evacuated due to the dangerous overpowering fumes and staff became ill too. Jodeen Jackson announced ignorantly and LOUDLY for parents staff and all to hear that a small piece of grafitti (in a place where no-one could even see it, and where children never went anyway) was FAR MORE DANGEROUS THAN USING TOXIC CHEMICALS DURING THE WORK HOURS AT SCHOOL. This is total breach of Workcover and Worker's Compensation not to mention Industrial Relation LAWS. Nothing has been done about any of this either, all swept under the carpet. The barristers are going to have a heyday when this gets into court soon.
Brodie's LAW has been passed so the overt bullying by McDonald and McDiarmid will be dealt with in JAIL!

I am proud to be a low income earner, I started my working life age 15 in the shearing sheds of NSW,QLD and VIC and I am also very proud to say I am glad to have been in that enviroment and around AUSSIES who know what hard work is all about and have a work ethic I have yet to see anywhere else. And there are more low income earners in NSW/Australia than medium and high income earners who do you think gets screwed over so the execs and alike get the big bucks, we are the backbone of Australia and the economy. Shane: You have missed the meaning of my comment re parents releasing their stories via a magazine that sells at cheaper rate at newsstands and is more popular among less highly educated people/low socio-economic population. Unfortunately, too many of the people falling into these categories, due to limited education will not and/or cannot write decent letters to those in power and feel inadequate tackling the upper echelons of society. I am reduced to below poverty income now myself and have been in similar predicament when my own three children were small and growing up, however I had had the advantage of tertiary education and am blessed with a well above average IQ (none of my doing and I am not boasting, merely explaining here). I am most certainly not trying to denigrate those thrust into low socio-economic living and uneducated lifestyles at all and I apologise for having obviously upset you on this issue. I merely wanted to point out that "the pen IS mightier than the sword" in the long run and you should well know this from court attendances and interactions with doctors etc.
Indeed, far too many so-called teachers are uneducated or seriously undereducated and of low IQ and even lower EQ. They however have access to reasonable income and in the case of those in promotion positions, are backed by the government which stinks.

Liberty Rowan I am amazed with the talent suppose to be fighting this why it hasnt gone any where. You say you have been at this for two years well love I have been at this for over thirty years ever since the government used incareration on children called by us girls and boys homes you dont hear what happened because no one wants to talk about it and most of us have serious mental issues or have taken their own lives, whilst I draw breath I will scream out and rip strips off anyone who uses children to their advantage. Boys and Girls Homes were only shutdown early eighties because of the abuse those staff or hitlers as we knew them were put in the mainstream and kept using their evil practices on children and it continues today carenne being a good example but not the only example. Try having DOCS come to your house to counsel you and when you tell them you use to be a STATE WARD the look on his face was priceless and his response almost got him killed, as his reply to me was,"I have dealt with alot of boys from the homes and they are either DEAD or Incarcerated.". I was quite taken back by that and was about to shoot him out the front door, so yes I have been dead for quite along time. I have never been in this for money just my fellow abused children and justice being done for them. The NSW Government stood by whilst chidren were hospitalised I witnessed this on a daily basis and still live with these images today. I was a person but had that bashed out of me age six and was told to conform or else but that was pretty hard when you try to please an abuser when they want total control.
I want the NSW Government to recognize not only are they responsible for the abuse of children in their care but the DEATHS of hundreds if not thousands of children and I have come to the realisation that I wont get my justice in my lifetime but it wont stop me from trying to get it and in the process I will make sure it does not happen to my children. They drove us to extinction, I have not met or been able to talk to another state ward in over twenty years.
The picture for me is bigger than just carenne although carenne needs to be dealt with but the culture goes way back even before my time and this culture of NSW Government needs to be destroyed like it has to many, many lives.
And before anyone goes on about the homes only being for bad children, me and my brother were put there because our mother and father divorced and being a single parent was taboo in those days and we were made state wards without parents and there were other bullshit reasons why children were placed in hell.
I was overwhelmed the day I heard The Homes were closed it was the end of a very dark era or so I thought but the abusers were moved into other government roles which they had no experience and The Homes fiasco was covered up. Sounds familiar does it not.

The 'LOCAL RAG' refuses to report on the criminal behaviour of certain DET personnel and/or police in Bathurst. The Sydney papers also refuse to print any of the stories. These are the bought and paid for press and NSW is the only state on the eastern seaboard that has NO problems within the school system - NOT! Queensland and Victoria both report publicly on any anomolies occurring within the public school systems there but NSW is mute and pathetic. It is not the fault of those of us who have been damaged and/or destroyed by these criminals and it is not for the want of actually reporting and forwarding FULL DOCUMENTATION to Sydney papers and local rag. They simply won't print anything - they've been effectively GAGGED.
