Parents have been warned by Neil Moon that fundraising at Carenne Special School could be at risk with the Carenne P&C at risk of being wound up. According to a plea sent to parents by Neil Moon, the P&C requires a president, treasurer and secretary for the next year.
Mr Moon has called on parents, carers and grandparents to pay the $2 membership fee and attend the next meeting or the P&C might be forced to wind up, with any funds it presently has being forfeited.
Carenne Gate has learned that Janelle Kemp (president), Simone Russell (secretary) and the treasurer have stood down from the committee. Carenne Gate has called for the resignation of Janelle Kemp following her claims that it was parents supplying information to this blog.
Neil Moon has pleaded with parents to pay the $2 membership fee and to attend the annual general meeting or the P&C risked having to be closed.
According to former Carenne employee, carennetruth, the P&C had been operating against its rules. Carennetruth alleges that most meetings did not have the people required to meet the quorum and any decisions made are illegal.
It is not the first time that Simone Russell has been implicated in poor management, with her time as Carenne's School Administration Manager marred by incompetence. She failed to properly manage the school budget, used funds allocated for one thing for something else and wrote cheques for an account which didn't exist. According to Mother Goose, former Carenne principal warned Simone about her questionable practices. "Lyn told her that she had been illegally writing cheques and even joked that they could both end up in jail and that Lyn wanted the top bunk!" said Mother Goose.
While it is no loss that Janelle Kemp and Simone Russell are leaving the P&C it is of concern that the school could be without a P&C association. It shows the complete lack of support Carenne has amongst the community following years of maladministration, corruption and child abuse.

Anyone with talent is quickly identified and shafted. Kelly Thompson was always a target at Carenne because she was young and someone who showed promise. She didn't do things the way staff normally did at Carenne but she achieved results. Her teaching methodology was better than some of the staff who had been there for 20 years.
Kelly was someone who could have been assistant principal material if MERIT selection wasn't rigged at Carenne.

Michael Auld was one of the key people involved in the rot with the Carters. They had both figured out he was ripping the school off so he, Kim and Simone had to get rid of them.

You can say all you like that Bronwyn Mackay was hard done by but the department had its reasons for taking such drastic action.
Bronwyn was informed that she was under investigation by EPAC for two matters - one relating to serious misconduct and the other relating to child protection. She was told that due to the child protection issue she was to work at district office until such time as the EPAC investigation was complete.
Bronwyn being Bronwyn decided to turn up to BWPS the next day. She acted in spite of a direction from the SED to attend district office.
She was told that she was to attend district office for work. Sometime after she was given an inclosed lands notice and told that should she come on BWPS again she could be prosecuted.
Bronwyn acted in spite of the inclosed lands notice and was removed by the police.
This all could have been averted had Bronwyn done what she was asked. Instead, she made a fool of herself and was removed by police and subsequently dismissed.

As DET staff and I presume you are staff you are required to make proper reports. All staff are aware of this and are updated on child protection and reporting procedures regularly.

With all the staff claiming stress leave what about the children caught in the crossfire.
It must be impossible for the students of carenne to get through the day when all the staff care about is themselves and what they can steal from these wonderful children who now have limited resources thanks to theiving staff members.
Three things need to happen to get the ball rolling,
1. Carenne needs to be Audited ASAP
2. Administrator\s needs to be appointed.
3. Staff stood down until the childrens welfare can be guaranteed
A petition of the bathurst community.

Bronwyn Mackay was handed a letter that was so obviously a cut and paste letter supposed to be from Carole McDiarmid stating there were complaints from several staff. NO PROTOCOL was observed in any of this and there were NO STAFF COMPLAINTS BROUGHT FORWARD THEN OR SINCE. Further Carole McDiarmid has stayed MUTE regarding the entire fiasco invented by Toni Macdonald because her efforts to break and destroy Mackay had failed and she had after all sworn she would have Mackay out of HER school before Winter and it was then Spring! NOT GOOD eh?
When Bronwyn said she couldn't obey this childishly careless 'COPY' of a letter but had to have the ORIGINAL letter with an AUTHENTIC signature before she could act on it. This caused Macdonald to turn beet-root red and fume and Harvey looked real uncomfortable and not too happy - Macdonald delivered this fake fraud letter early on a Monday morning when Bronwyn had just come back to work after some sick leave. Macdonald had Harvey trotting along behind her and this dubious duo spent several minutes hiding in Banksia 4 classroom prior to 'serving' this crap because the itinerant teacher of the deaf was with her and they ran for cover so that she wouldn't see or hear the performance. She had however watched this ridiculous parody take place especially the running and hiding! Schoolyard behaviours from so-called DET "superiors?" Bronwyn never received the ORIGINAL lying letter then or since.

The dumb duo attended Bronwyn's little storage space (the only place they'd let her have) to deliver another fraud fake "COPY" letter which upped the ante stating Bronwyn was a danger to staff and/or students!
