A group of parents who attended the Mother's Day Afternoon Tea at Carenne Special School yesterday while Education Minister Verity Firth was there says they were "ambushed" by Peter Harvey who took them to another room and kept them talking until the Education Minister had left.
One parent said "I thought we were going to meet the minister but instead we went and listened to Peter Harvey ramble on until she had left."
Another parent told Carenne Gate "I had quite a bit to say to Firth but Harvey knew that and ambushed us, I even ended up missing out on my afternoon tea, I wasn't happy."
The parents claim that the only parents who got to meet the minister were parents who would say positive things about the school, one parent said "They had it all scripted I am certain of that, only parents who would say favourable things were allowed to meet the minister."

Bloody outrage at Carenne Public School No surprise with Peter Harvey antics, that is how it is done. The days of politicians walking and talking among the people have been orchestrated by paid minders and party members for well over twenty years and it is only getting worse. I would hope those questions for Verity Firth could be published on this string so Concerned and others may copy and paste them to politicians and the media. the one who admitted to ICAC she was lying.There is a photo of her in the SMH Karyn Paluzzano leaves the ICAC after giving evidence. It was her 50th birthday. People should start pushing for a by election and to make sure there is no pension for the admitted liar.
I want to know why Carenne Support is still supported by the government when Christine Porter's complete neglect caused the deterioration of several student's medical conditions.
Just remember that corrupt organisation got money that the Spastic Centre in Orange should have got by Geoff Salmon lying and saying he would provide outreach services to other disabled persons in the Bathurst area. It's so unfair what they have done. The Spastic Centre would have provided a quality service but instead Gerard Martin's corrupt friends get the money.
I want to know why Carenne will fundraise for students whose parents work at Carenne but nobody else.

Because they are low lives thats why look what they did to the out of town parents today rude and arrogant.
They didn't even have the decency to call parents and tell them that travel arrangements for the Lithgow run had changed. What do you expect from them. They get paid $3/Km, Lithgow parents should keep their kids home until further notice.

Of course they didn't because they knew the parents would be angry about it. They are inconsiderate cunts who don't realise the impact this will have on autistic children. As a special educator with experience in working with autistic kids I know just how change can affect these poor kids. Yet another Lee Churches, Mary Housler, Graeme Grundy and Carol Smith fuck up.
They don't think of the impact corrupt Carenne Support's bullshit has on Carenne School staff. I wouldn't kiss there fucking arses when tehy were walking around the school like GOD today, as far as I am concerned Smith and Grundy are SHIT.
