Why Dick Spears lost the Oberon run

At the beginning of this year, Dick Spears lost his Oberon bus run to Carenne Support. With the 2012 school year coming to an end, Spears is attempting to shore up support with the Assisted School Travel Unit so he can be awarded the run for next year.

A whistleblower in the ASTU told Carenne Gate that Spears had been getting parents to complain about Carenne Support driver Lawrence and Travel Support Officer Gerri after he lost some $310 per day this year.

The ASTU whistleblower told Carenne Gate that Spears lost the run after serious allegations of a sexual nature were made against him. Despite evidence that the student in question had been sexually interfered with inquiries by JIRT were unable to establish whether the offender was Mr Spears or another person.As a result there is a cloud of suspicion over Mr Spears.

While Carenne Gate believes Spears should not be in a position where he is around children, he should not be given a run out of the urban area where there is less oversight of his behaviour.

Students catch Ryan, Molenkamp in the act

Sex education was taken to a whole new level at Carenne School last week when two senior students walked into a classroom during lunch and caught Adam Ryan having sex with Karina Molenkamp. The students reported the incident to Barracus, who said she was unable to report it to Neil Moon as he would not take it seriously.

Barracus instead contacted Peter Harvey, who dismissed the complaint as being "made-up" by the two students, despite them being able to describe in detail what they saw.

It is more inappropriate behaviour from Carenne staff who know they can get away with it due to the ignorance shown by senior departmental officers.

Travel Support Officer's party would make you Quiver

A concerned parent has contacted Carenne Gate alleging that the Travel Support Officer used by Cheryl Chaplin and Nathan Carter held a party where sex toys were sold and underage children were invited to. The parent claims that Railene Case held a sex party at her house for her 17 year-old daughter.

At the party, Quiver Parties hostess Kristy demonstrated some of the sex toys, with at least four underage children present. The youngest child was 14.

The parent says he reported the party to Neil Moon but it was ignored.

When someone who works with children has a sex party fir children you can be certain that they are completely unfit to work with children. Cheryl Chaplin and Nathan Carter should accept full responsibility for Case's behaviour and have her permanently banned from working. To fail to do so shows the duo have no spine.

Carenne rapist strikes again

The male student of Carenne Special School in Bathurst which raped a younger female student some time ago, leading to her being transferred to another school and being covered up has struck again according to Carenne whistleblower Chello.

Chello claims that she was told that the student had raped another student last week while undertaking a holiday program cleaning up parks around the Bathurst area and claims that Neil Moon contributed to the rape by not dealing with him raping a student some 18 months ago.

Chello said "I blame Neil Moon, he knew what (name removed) was like and he covered it up. He crucified the family of the poor girl that was raped last time. He could have done something then and prevented this."

Loonie Moon should face the parents of this latest victim and explain why he did nothing in the past.

Adam Ryan's behaviour has long been a cause of concern

Adam Ryan now subject of more allegations

Carenne School Learning Support Officer Adam Ryan has previously come under Carenne Gate's attention for his inappropriate behaviour with students at Carenne. Carenne Gate can now reveal that during his involvement with students of the emotional disability and mild intellectual disability units at Bathurst High, his behaviour was also inappropriate and he had come under notice.

A whistleblower contacted Carenne Gate to report that Adam Ryan was quietly asked to have limited involvement with students at Bathurst High Campus of Denison College by Head Teacher Darren Hamilton. The whistleblower claims that Ryan used to hang around female students in the special education classes "like a bad smell" and often had discussions with them of a "sexual nature".


The whistleblower also claims to be aware of a relationship between Ryan and a student who is now at Carenne. The whistleblower told Carenne Gate -

"I was aware that there were concerns about the relationship between Adam and ........ and reported this to Gaye Dunshea. When I heard he was working at Carenne, I thought bloody hell, this bloke is obsessed with her because he started not long after she started there."

The whistleblower claims that it is "common knowledge" at Bathurst High that Ryan takes an unusual interest in vulnerable female students. "If you have a girl who has low self-esteem or has difficulty conducting herself, Adam Ryan will be there," said the whistleblower. The whistleblower also says that a number of students have claimed to have had sexual relations with Ryan, but these were dismissed by Dunshea as the students are "disturbed" and "distort reality".

It's time for a full and proper investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct surrounding Adam Ryan and for him to be stood down until the investigation is properly carried out.

Auld under investigation

Michael Auld, the Labor party stooge who is no stranger to being in hot water is once again being investigated by the department's EPAC branch according to senior document officials.

The officials claim to have received reports from Auld's former aide Melinda Gavin that he has leaked confidential school information, misappropriated school funds and property, sexually harassed staff and assaulted students.

Gavin gave an interview to EPAC officers at the beginning of term claiming that -

• Auld had accessed confidential information on school computers in 2009 and 2010 and had leaked it,
• Auld planted evidence on staff computers to implicate staff,
• Destroyed documents implicating Lee Churches, Margaret Rowe, Simone Russell and himself,
  
• Diverted funds to RDA,
• Stolen school property,
• Had inappropriate conversations of a sexual nature with make students,
• Gave students pornography,
• Showed pornography in class,
• Inappropriately touched female students,
• Made unwanted sexual advanced towards her, including exposing himself

These allegations come as no surprise given Auld's bizarre behavior. Auld's conduct places students at serious risk of harm. Despite being covered up by the school, Mr Auld had a checkered history with the department, having a number of issues recorded on his file for misconduct.

Fresh child protection claims surface at Carenne

Carenne Gate has been contacted by a parent, concerned about the behaviour of Carenne Special School School Learning Support Officer, Adam Ryan towards students at the school. The parent alleges to have make a report to Neil Moon, which was never recorded or investigated.

The parent alleges that she has observed Mr Ryan being 'all over' two female students and 'roughhousing' with male students on the lawn at the front of the school in direct breach of child protection policies of the department.

She claims to have reported Ryan's conduct with the two female students, which she claims to have observed over a period of two months to Neil Moon who promised to do something about it but never got back to her. She said she contacted EPAC today and was told that no report had been made about her report to Mr Moon, despite Moon requiring to notify them.

It appears that once again, Carenne Special School are covering up complaints of a child protection nature.

Photographic evidence of Angie Cranston "touching up" a student denied by Moon

A number of parents have found a photograph of Angie Cranston putting her gloved hand up the inside of a young student's clothes a major concern. The photograph appeared in last week's newsletter. For the student's privacy I won't post the photo on this blog.

One parent claims she contacted Neil Moon about the photograph last week, telling him she believed it was inappropriate. The parent claims that she was concerned about the photograph breaching the students privacy and being against child protection rules.

"I couldn't believe it, I opened up the newsletter and you have Angie with a gloved hand putting it up the inside of his clothes. If she was doing a procedure on him it shouldn't be in the newsletter and if she wasn't, it's clear child abuse."

Neil Moon responded to the parent by claiming that the photograph only appeared in the draft newsletter and was removed by office staff before being circulated. He said that she was the only one who saw the photo. The parent says that she has contacted other parents who claim the photograph appears in their newsletters as well.

"This Neil Moon is a liar. He tells so many lies he doesn't even know what's true anymore. How can this incompetent man be the principal of Carenne?" asked the parent.

Carenne is a school so entrenched with problems that it can never be fixed without dismissing most of the staff and re-staffing it. The culture of silence and lies that has existed for at least ten years continues under Neil Moon, the school's leader for a year and a half. It is time that Peter Harvey finds the guts to take action about the school.

Auld and Gavin supporting pedophillia among students

A concerned Carenne Special School staff member has contacted Carenne Gate alleging that Michael Auld and Melinda Gavin have been encouraging a sexual relationship between an older and younger student. This is not the first time that Gavin has been accused of encouraging students to have sex.

The staff member claims that Neil Moon has been made aware of the relationship but has told staff "not to worry about it as the students are with 3 years age of each other". The concerned person says that the relationship is illegal because one of the students is below the age of consent and that Neil Moon hasn't got the "guts" to do something about it.

It's time that another review into Carenne Special School is carried out and staff such as Gavin and Auld are sacked.

Another organisation for disabled children in Bathurst is a farce

My contact with Melinda Phillips who runs the Interchange respite service in Bathurst has discovered it to be another farce which believes it is above the law and do what it likes in a similar vain to Carenne Special School in Bathurst. Just like Carenne, there have been allegations of information leaks and of a sexual relationship between a worker and client.

A whistleblower employed at Interchange contacted Carenne Gate to report some of the goings on at the service which I attempted to discuss with Ms Phillips who refused to respond. According to staff at Carenne she did however contact Neil Moon at Carenne saying that she had been contacted by Carenne Gate.

It has been alleged that Samantha Durham at Interchange has been publicly releasing information about clients, some of which has ended up on this blog. This same person was also reported to have been in a sexual relationship with a client to the knowledge of Ms Phillips and other staff at the service. Only a single whistleblower made a proper report to the NSW Ombudsman about her conduct.

Yet another organisation dealing with vulnerable children associated with Carenne has shown itself to be inept and needing a serious overhaul.

Student suspended for two days over rape

According to documents provided to Carenne Gate another incident of sexual assault between an older and younger student has occurred at Carenne. Evidenced by emails between Neil Moon and Peter Harvey, the incident is described as happening around three weeks ago when a senior student sexually assaulted a younger student at the school. According to the emails, the incident is being investigated by the Police and DOCS.

A similar incident occurred at the school in 2005 which was investigated by Police. A number of whistleblowers at the school have alleged that there are a number of students sexually assaulting other students but these have been covered-up due to who the perpetrators parents were.

This incident occurred due to the students' teachers not properly supervising them. While Neil Moon has vigourously defended Michael Auld, he has not done the same for Sandra Lynch, laying the blame squarely upon her.

According to the Carenne Saviours, the older student was suspended for just two days over the incident and since his return has been allowed to wander about the school grounds unsupervised.

Despite the school having a history of student sexual assaults and the recent finding by a court that a teacher was having sex with a student, Peter Harvey and Neil Moon still refuse to act.

Carenne teachers accessed porn

Amid controversy about NSW MPs accessing pornography and possibly child pornography from parliamentary computers, a number of Carenne Special School whistleblowers have made allegations that pornography has been accessed by staff at the school.

One Carenne Saviour told Carenne Gate that prior to Carenne's internet being filtered, staff and students accessed pornography from school computers. The saviour alleged that she was told by Michael Auld's then aide Melinda Gavin that he had a porn addiction and accessed it from school. According to Barracus, there was an incident for which Michael Auld ws reprimanded by Terry Mahony in 2006 when he started a computer and displayed pornography on a whiteboard attached to the computer.

According to whistleblowers, Louise Smith was also reported for accessing pornography as was Anne Baskerville.

"Diva" and savecarenne told Carenne Gate that they approached Terry Mahony in June of 2006 and reported Ros Luther encouraging students to access pornographic websites as it was a reliable source of 'sex education'.

Following the filtering of the internet at Carenne, teachers would bring in thumb drives containing pornography. The Saviours claim that assistant principal Terry Neal and Michael Auld would trade porn with male students. Some Saviours say that there is pornography on the hard drives of some school computers placed there by staff.

Carenne Public School under the spotlight as SMH reports on court finding that Carenne teacher had sex with a student

Carenne Public School has come under the spotlight in the mainstream media following Judge Elkaim's judgment yesterday where he found that former Carenne teacher, Anna Blackburn had a sexual relationship with student David Withyman.

The judge stopped short of finding that the department and Carenne had breached their duty of care on the basis that Ms Blackburn's behaviour amounted to ''an act of such unexpected 'madness' that a reasonable person would not have taken precautions to prevent it''.

Moon pledges to fix the "dildo issue"

Neil Moon, Carenne's principal who was at the Carenne Support fundraiser on Friday when two staff members presented a sex toy as their unusual item has pledged to staff that he will fix the "dildo issue" and make the problem go away.

A number of staff said they were shocked to see photographs of the event around the whiteboard in the staff room with the words "CONGRATULATIONS" written near them after the horrendous behaviour on the night.

At the staff meeting this afternoon, Mr Moon told staff that he has spoken to Peter Harvey about the issue and told him that he did not see a sex toy at the event. He told all other staff to say they saw and heard nothing about a dildo being present, as it had the potential to spark a large scale investigation.

According to a whistleblower at the meeting, Mr Moon told staff that they didn't need the stress of an allegation like this and he would ensure the "dildo issue" went away. It shows the lengths that the likes of Mr Moon will go to to ensure that the truth about what happens at Carenne is hidden.

The events of Friday night show just why Carenne needs this blog to expose the truth about what happens at Carenne.

Molenkamp, Cranston commit "sexual misconduct": SEA Snitch

Bathurst Schools Office whistleblower, "SEA Snitch" has spoken to Carenne Gate advising that a number of departmental rules were broken on Friday night at the controversial Dinner Dance where staff took a vibrator as an "unusual item" in the presence of a young lady and staff.

The whistleblower said that the most serious incident would involve the sex toy, which was bought to the function in the presence of a young person. SEA Snitch claims that the conduct of Karina Molenkamp and Angie Cranston in showing the sex toy and slapping each other with it is considered sexual misconduct and as such they have to stood down and subject to investigation.

"We already know that Peter doesn't take these seriously. There were allegations of reportable conduct made about Churches and Russell neglecting their own children and he covered those up," said SEA Snitch.

SEA Snitch also said that principal Neil Moon should have intervened and reported the incident under child protection guidelines.

SEA Snitch said -

"The fact that the youngest person there was 16 is still covered by the child protection guidelines and legislation. She is a young person and their behaviour is sexual misconduct. If Moon doesn't report it then he should also be sacked for covering it up."

SEA Snitch said that the use of alcohol while a young person was disallowed under the code of conduct as far as they are aware. SEA Snitch lays the blame fairly at Carenne Support who organised the event and the school executive, who should have known better in their assessment.

"The code of conduct is clear, there is to be no alcohol at school functions where young people, children or students are present. Obviously this wasn't followed in this case," complained SEA Snitch.

In addition to charges of sexual misconduct and breaching the code of conduct through the use of alcohol, SEA Snitch says that the conduct of those who bought the vibrator to the function could amount to sexual harassment, which is illegal in NSW and something which is prohibited by the code of conduct.

SEA Snitch said that they were also concerned about the negative impact the behaviour of staff will have on the school and the wider public education system in NSW.
