It was reported in the bought and paid for media of Bathurst on Tuesday that Interchange Bathurst had been given $80,000 to fund ten new respite places despite other organisations with a proven track record being snubbed for the funding.
Staff from another respite organisation in Bathurst contacted Carenne Gate to complain about the funding being given to Interchange. They claim that Interchange had a history of financial mismanagement under Nola Ramsay, that one staff member had a sexual relationship with a client and that clients were placed at risk by dangerous drivers.
Interchange has long been known to employ inexperienced staff and to give them insufficient training. The level of supervision by management is also seriously lacking. According to the manager of another respite organisation many clients have left and gone elsewhere as the environment at Interchange is not safe.
The government shouldn't be supporting an organisation as useless and inept as Interchange.

relationship with a client. This allegation concerns a staff member named Samantha
Durham who has since been found to be innocent of any wrong doing by
investigations by Police, ADHC, NSW Ombudsman and Community Services. They also
found Interchange handling of the incident to be excellent.
Further claims that clients were placed at risk by
dangerous drivers are completely false. The Police investigation into the
accident found the condition of the road was to blame nothing to do with the
driver.

hope it has more credibilty that this site/ this site has accused every single poor teacher of carenne as a pedo, god the school only had 6 teachers early 2000 and this blog, in one place or another, has accused every single teacher of beiong a pedo, EVERY ONE WHAT A JOKE. hope your site just sticks to the facts. this site is already being innvestigated by bathurst police. sad part is cause they accuse every teacher, that if something did really happen noone would ever believe it. KEEP YOUR WEBSITE FACTUAL and maybe then can weed out the rotten eggs. I am sure most of them were not!!!
