Those hoping to meet the education minister at Carenne Special School today were bitterly disappointed as it was discovered that claims made by Neil Moon and Michael Auld that Verity Firth would be a surprise guest at the opening were false.
The education minister, who was discovered to of misled parliament in May last year appears to of snubbed Carenne, most likely not wishing to be associated with the school prior to the election next March.
The Carenne Special School has been the subject of a number of serious allegations including the sexual assault of a student by a teacher, sexual assaults among students, corruption and bullying.

It's like when Coutts-Trotter was in Bathurst a little while ago, he avoided Carenne instead looking at the special ed unit at Bx West. It shows that the department is sick of the rot at Carenne with Neil Moon as principal.
The education minister much like her politician colleagues would not want to be seen at a school like Carenne where a teacher was known to of had sex with a student and where a student received a suspension for two days for raping another student. It doesn't do much for the old reputation and with the ALP facing obliteration at the next state election they need someone to keep their nose clean. Too bad that Verity presided over the much screwed up BER program in NSW.
Neil and Michael are both grubs and cant be trusted.

Like most of the staff at Carennne, Michael is past his use by date. He has been too focused on rot to get anywhere. That's why when he applied for a position as a teaching principal Lyn gave him a poor reference.

Have a look in the Central Western Daily newspaper today. Photo of Moon and Mr McGoo (waste of space local labour member lying sycophant) making statement about new improved Carenne. A few buildings will NEVER clean up that place.
