Carenne Support places lives at risk

Carenne Support's complete lack of regard for student safety has never been more obvious than it was last week. Ever since Dave Graham and Geoff Salmon had the vehicles shipped to Victoria to have gearbox conversions both vehicles have had a series of never-ending problems resulting in Carenne Support having to use hire vehicles.

On Thursday an even more dangerous situation occurred when Carenne Support's Oberon bus's brakes failed whilst driving down Oberon Mount. Fortunately for the students on board the driver was able to control the vehicle even though the brakes had failed.

A spokesman for Clancy Motors told Carenne Gate that the issue was caused by two bolts attaching the brakes to the vehicle snapping. He said "the driver would have noticed the first bolt coming off, there would have been a noise from it hitting parts of the car, instead of checking he kept driving until the second one came off which caused the failure."

When asked what would have caused the problem, the spokesman said "Not being checked properly when the brake pads were replaced, we didn't do those - the brake pads used were cheap, not what we use."

It's time for Carenne Support to explain how this incident occurred.

  4. A senior NSW policeman who broke his silence on the alleged cover up of child
sex abuse in the Catholic Church last week says the move has ended his
    career.

Detective Chief Inspector Peter Fox first made the allegations in an
interview with the ABC's Lateline, which yesterday led to Prime Minister Julia
Gillard announcing a royal commission into alleged child sex abuse within
religious groups, schools, government bodies and non-profit organisations and
the response of children's services, the police and the legal system.

Chief Inspector Fox appeared on Lateline again last night and said he was
thrilled his decision to speak out had led to a national inquiry.

But he also expected to receive threats for lifting the lid on the alleged
cover-ups as he claimed he had previously been targeted for taking a stance on
    child abuse and another matter.

He claimed in the past he had received threatening letters on paper with
    police letterheads.

Since speaking out last week the senior officer has reportedly received some
    support from other police officers.

"I've had calls from some police that I don't know wanting to share their
frustrations and stories with me," Chief Inspector Fox said.

"Conversely, there's also been the uglier side of it where ... this is the
    end of my policing career,"

"I realised that from the moment that I decided to speak out last week."

Chief Inspector Fox said the culture within the police force had changed
little since the Wood Royal Commission from 1995 to 1997, which investigated
corruption and misconduct within the NSW police force.

Officers who spoke out of turn were still not accepted, he said.

He said being at the end of a 35-year policing career made his decision to
speak out easier, but he hoped other police would also come forward with their
    frustrations.

    office.

  28. no and it did not whilst I was teaching there either. ridiculous the whole blog. never a postive comment on it. just nasty disgusting allegations against good people yet not brave enough to put a name to them. I agree with carenne fight back, I bet that many of these bloggers and using multi aliases to make it look more convincing. During the years I taught there, there is NOT ONE teacher that has not been accused of molestation, abuse and pedophilia - gone too far to be credible - boy that cired wolf syndrome. godf I hope it never does happen as nooone, after this blog, will EVER take it seriously and some poor child will get no justice. teachers go through strict police checks before being employed by DET. I unfortunately had a surgical disaster in mid 2000 and was very sad to have to go on permanent sick leave and medical retirement. Dunnily enough the pedo ring I was meant to be in with other teachers was 2000 - 2003. lol wasnt even there!!!
