Carenne Special School's relieving principal, Terry Neal called Police on an 11 year-old student today after he became agitated and violent towards staff and other students. The student claims that he was sexually assaulted by an older student at the school and became agitated when Nadine Dwyer refused to listen to him about the assault.
The student's parents were called, telling them that he had an "episode" at school. The real reason was not told to the parents. When parents refused to collect their son from school, he was taken to Terry Neal who told him that nobody would believe him that he was sexually abused because he was a known trouble-maker. When the student become even more agitated, Police were called.
Office staff overheard Mr Neal tell the student prior to the Police arriving that he would "make your time at Carenne hell if you tell them about [name removed] having sex with you." and that "You will have to come back sometime, so think about that you little cunt."
Police arrived and threatened the student with criminal charges if he continued his behaviour before taking him home to his parents.
It is yet another example of the cover-ups, incompetence and deception going on in Bathurst involving the Police and the Carenne Special School.
Lies this student did not complain at all about any sexual assault and this is complete slander. He was not threatened if he made a complaint about any sexual assault.

A sexual assault examination was conducted and found no evidence of a sexual assault. The student was also interviewed by a pediatrician and a Child Psychiatrist who found no evidence of sexual assault.
Clearly this claim is untrue and I call on Libertarian to apolgise to Terry Neal and Nadine Dwyer.
Also Libertarian you ought to be held accountable for the abuse that you committed in making these false allegations. You caused an 11 year old child to have an unnecessary sexual assault examination as a result of these false claims.
Also while we are talking about false claims Police have closed there investigation into Adam Ryan finding the allegations to be false.
The Police are going to be coming to Carenne to speak to students about the consequences of making a false complaint and how they can be charged and sent to jail for making a false complaint.
There has been a number of false complaints made ever since Ashley Elphick made her complaint and we understand parents who use this blog are encouraging there children to make false complaints.
If a child from now on makes a false complaint of abuse they will at the very least receive a 20 day suspension and we will expel them if we can dump them on another school.
We will be having the student charged by police for his behaviour.

ReplyDeleteI was in the school office the entire time as I was doing work for Carenne Support and I was getting Helen Windsor to do so paperwork for Carenne Support.
I observed this students meltdown the entire time and did not hear the student claim he was sexually assaulted nor did Terry Neal say the words that Libertarian alleged.
The incident was handled professionally by Terry Neal who took prompt action to ensure everyone's safety from this violent student and should be commended for his bravery. If it were not for Terry Neal 's actions staff members would have been seriously injured by this student.

The child became physically aggressive towards Nadine Dwyer and threw a chair at her.
The child then came to the office and continued his physical aggression Terry Neal, Michael Auld, Margaret Rowe, Janelle Kemp and Adam Ryan all proceeded to intervene so as to commence using reasonable force to restrain the child due to him being a danger to himself and others.
The child then pulled out a knife from his pocket and threaten staff saying he was going to stab the staff then kill himself.
The Police were called by Helen Windsor at this point. All staff removed themselves from the area however the child threatened Janelle as well as Melinda Gavin and threatened to stab them with the knife.
The courageous actions of Michael Auld, Terry Neal and Adam Ryan after negotiation he agreed to hand over the knife and release the staff being held hostage. It is understood that Peter Harvey is recommending Michael Auld, Adam Ryan and Terry Neal for an award for there courageous action.
The staff involved are severely traumatized and I understand that the staff involved are all planing to lodge workers compensation and victims of crime compensation claims over the incident.
There was no sexual assault and DOCS determined that. There was most certainly a report made to DOCS and JIRT commenced an investigation.

ReplyDeleteMichael Auld, Terry Neal and Adam Ryan were extremely courageous in there action and went beyond the call of the duty and placed themselves in danger to prevent Janelle Kemp and Melinda Gavin from being seriously injured by this kid who was threatening to stab Melinda and Janelle.
Hopefully this kid will be sent to juvenile detention at Orana Juvenile Detention at Dubbo as he is clearly is a danger to the community.
They should lock this kid up and throw away the key.

The students who are in need therapy are prioritized according to clinical need, resources available and weather therapy would improve the patient's life and consideration as to the risk of deterioration if therapy is not provided.

with his or her family, is brought face-to-face
with the victim, and the victim’s support group,
to hear about the harm caused and to take
responsibility for their actions.
Together, the people at the conference agree on a suitable outcome for the crime that can include an
apology, reasonable reparation to the victim and
steps to link the young offender back into the
community.
I have heard from the victims that they want this young offender to repair the harm he caused by this violent act and for him to take responsibility for his actions.
This attack was unprovoked by any Carenne staff and at no time did the student claim he was the victim of abuse or show signs of abuse. The student was no threatened or intimidated at any time by Carenne staff. Nor was the student deterred or threatened in raising claims that he had been a victim of a sexual assault or any other concern with police.
Numerous staff members have had to seek the assistance of counselling through the Employee Assistance Program and have been referred on to psychiatrists and psychologists through work cover.
This violent act has shaken the staff of Carenne and has caused significant trauma and has shocked the staff of Carenne that something like this could occur in this school community.
The staff of Carenne are dedicated and do a thankless job educating the most vulnerable members of society the disabled and consequently deserve the school community's full support during this time.
Carenne in light of this incident will be reviewing its entire security procedures and there will be significant changes which are proposed
* Time out area one indoors and outdoors where students experiencing difficulties will be able to go to a secure, safe and non threatening environment where will be a tranquil space where student can enjoy the fresh air which is good for relieving stress
* Secure fencing and automated gates of the school. There will also been screening on the fence to create a sense of privacy and ensure students are not disturbed by events they see out the school gates. Will also prevent sex offenders taking photos of the students.
People wishing to enter the school during non student pick up time will need to press an intercom. This will enhance safety for students and staff to prevent unwelcome visitors entering the school.
People will need to make an appointment in advance to attend the school office unless it is an emergency such situations will be assessed by Helen Windsor and other office staff. This includes any external therapists and departmental officials visiting the school
* Staff will be issued walk talkies and duress alarms
* 2 security guards to be on the premices during school hours. We thank Carenne Support for funding this. They will have training dealing with safe restraint and disabled. They are former prison guards who have an expert knowledge in dealing with the criminal element.
* Parent's who the school has a reasonable suspicion of using this blog will be denied entry under the inclosed lands protection act until such time they have proven a change in behaviour.
* Police, ambulance and community mental health will be called if there is a violent incident at the school to ensure the safety of all persons at the school. Police, Ambulance and Community mental health will be requested to remove the student and take the student to hospital or police station.
The Carenne school community will get over this incident and this incident will bring the school community closer together and create a sense of community.

ReplyDeleteThis would not surprise me they have been talking about a fence with automated gates and an intercom as well as putting a large fence with a screen around the school as there concerned members of the public may see abuse of kids and there is has been talk of a pig pen again as the Department said there completely acceptable after that Seven Hills incident.

ReplyDeleteTo anyone considering sending their child to Carenne please don't. Carenne is an example of social engineering. It is not equipped to produce positive learning outcomes, it is designed to make students fall further behind.
Carenne is full of staff who couldn't meet the grade elsewhere. They are incompetent. By ensuring that students fall further behind they are protecting their own jobs.
You see, many students come to Carenne on a temporary basis and end up staying there because they can't be mainstreamed.
The culture of the school does not support good pedagogy nor is it conductive to learning.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't send my child there through choice. It is a school ran by a pompas prick and incompetents on the executive. You would be better off with your child in a mainstream class with no support than Carenne. Luckily there are support classes outside of Carenne.

I am not Lee Churches although I know Lee Churches and I know that she would have her children be brought to account through the criminal justice system as she is a person who believe in teaching her children accountability and has high moral values.
