A Carenne Support whistleblower has come forward to expose the latest rort by the corrupt Carenne Special School associated organisation. It has been learned that for almost two months, Carenne Support has required two travel support officers on its Lithgow bus - one for the student from Lithgow who was locked in the Carenne torture room and sat on and another for the rest of the students on the bus.
According to the whistleblower, Dave Graham claimed that the student from Lithgow required a male to accompany him to and from school. This was granted by the education department, who is now paying for two travel support officers on the one run.
According to the whistleblower, the new escort was part of a rort organised by Mary Housler, Geoff Salmon and Dave Graham. Carenne Support recently learned that next year it will only be paid from the time it picks up its first student unless it has to detour by more than 5 kilometres to pick up the escort. As the travel support officer on the bus was Dave's wife, Carenne Support would not be entitled to the extra money so Carenne Support decided that a second travel support officer needed to be allocated to the run so it could be paid the 15% travel support loading next year.
"Mary Housler told me herself that they wanted another travel support officer allocated to the run so that they wouldn't be as out of pocket for as much next year," said the whistleblower.
"Mary wanted the travel support officer allocated early so it didn't look like they were trying to rort the system,"
"Now the department is paying double for the travel support on that run."
It is yet another example of the continuing protection being provided to Carenne Support and the continual defrauding of the NSW tax payers by the organisation.
Funny jenny oneill didn't need a male travel support officer for this student he was a perfect student to have on the lithgow bus no trouble at all.

ReplyDeleteOn Friday night officers from ICAC executed a search warrant at Careene School and made a rather bizarre discovery finding that the school was bugged. They found NSW police listening devices in the school and were surprised as they undertook checks and found they belonged to Bathurst Police. They were surprised as there was no warrant authorizing the use of these listening devices and they were reported to be lost over a year ago.
ReplyDeleteFurther investigations have revealed that Glen Russell was responsible in charge of the safe keeping of the listening devices. PIC has been notified of this latest development.
Also Jeremy Russell has been exonerated by the DET of any wrong doing relating to his sexual assaults. The serious misconduct investigations team have now removed him from the DET not be employed list as a result. He was invited to a meeting with the regional director and other officials where apologies were given to him.
He is also receiving ex gratia compensation from DET in the amount of $80,000 for the whole affair as Mr Russell had called in his lawyers and they have been threatening to sue the department as his lawyers argued there was insufficient evidence of any wrong doing. The DET was forced to settle as they could not take it to court as Lyn Duncan gave a glowing character reference of him.
Also the DET in particular Peter Harvey wants to go after Jenny O'Neill as they want her charged with sexual assault as she has become a threat to Careen and they believe Jeremy Russell can help with that in terms of providing evidence against her.
Also he has been offered further employment if he wants it back at Careen or any other school of his choosing.
